OK since I get the day time off and get to watch Evan he gets to help with many tasks I do just so he feels involved and isnt stuck in front of the tv. These can range from working on the cars and bike to just cooking breakfast.
Well every month or so I make a big giant batch of breakfast burritos. He HAS to help. So we take saugage links and cook em and then cut them into tiny bites sizes add diced jalapinos, pepper, salt, and tobasco and re-cook them. We then break about 18 eggs and scramble them with some pre cooked bacon I did earlier. We then cook about 3 lbs of breakfast potatoes with peppers and onions etc and cook that. We will then take all the food put it in seperate bowls and then take a spoon of each and add them to a tortilla and then top with cheese and roll.
He knows this proceedure very well and can pretty much make them all except for the cooking part as he is not allowed to touch the stove being 3 yrs old. He is also not allowed to use the knives.
I wake up today and he says he wants to make them and cook some coffee. I tell him ok and to give me a few minutes to wake up. I hear him banging around down stairs and I get up a few minutes later to discover he has already started without me. Since he couldnt find any sausage links he used Hot Dogs. And since he isnt allowed to use knives he used the scissors. And that boy is fast. In the 2 or 3 minutes it took to get dressed and down stairs he already had a whole package cut into tiny bite sized pieces. [img]eek.gif[/img]
Sooooooooooooo anyone every tried breakfast burritos with hot dogs in 'em??

It is funny how he turns things we say into ways he can still do it. He dumped a large OJ bottle on the floor one day so I told him he wasnt big enough to pour it into the big glasses.
So sleeping in one morning and laying in bed with the wife he comes in with 2 shot glasses filled to the brim with OJ for us. HE even added a straw for each. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
